On Friday, 28 August 2020 we notified you of a COVID-19 positive case of COVID-19 at our school. NSW Health has advised a second staff member has tested positive for COVID-19 at our school. The staff member has been in self-isolation and has not been at school while infectious.
NSW Health has confirmed there is no further action required and the school will continue on-campus learning tomorrow, Thursday 3 September 2020 as scheduled.
The school will take all required action in accordance with advice from NSW Health on a confirmed case of COVID-19 where there has been an impact on our school.
The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health will continue to work closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained. This includes identifying close contacts of a confirmed case and communicating directly with them regarding their requirement to self-isolate.
The school will be vigilant in implementing infection control procedures, including daily cleaning in accordance with normal protocols, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits and will continue to make hand sanitiser available for staff and students to use while at school.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.
